On Poetry

Why is it that poetry is abandoned to the world of high brow education? Why is it special? More special than a film or a song? Why is it more considered, more laborious, why is it not part of the language of out everyday? 

Poetry is an expression, just like a whistle or a bedtime story. It’s possible for any age and place, all conditions. I want to say tell me a story make it a poem and give the world poems to read. To talk about, to feel.

I want to be a vessel for words, collections of words that come together on my page. Where read and write and then share with the world.
